Xmas Fun Day 2023

The Vets hosted representatives from the Gainsborough State School at their monthly fun day and luncheon on Thursday the 29th May 2025 for the purpose of presenting them with a cheque just over $1,000 to assist financially disadvantaged students.

The School was represented by Mr Clayton McCann (School Principal) and Mrs Kelly Ready (Deputy Principal - Years 4 to 6) plus the school captains Nephi Munday and Lily Arthur.

The cheque was presented by Leah Morrison, our 2024 Charity Challenge winner, who opted for the funds raised at our charity events to be donated to the school.

Mr McCann was thrilled to accept the cheque and said the funds would be used to help funds student s to attend events and programs that they other wise would be able to attend due to family financial constraints.
